Pulau Lombok, Indonesia. On this island, the discovery of gold in 2006 caused a serious mercury contamination from goldmining. This is an examination of the present and future of the island.

Director : Wataru Takahashi
Wataru Takahashi was born in Yokohama. He studied in the United States for one year during his studies at a private high school in Kanagawa prefecture. After returning, he went to Keio University to study Global Environment and Technologies. There, he focused on film production while representing the student organization S.A.L. He has since left the team and now takes part in the Ainu language study group and Minamata study group, researching the tradition of experience from a sociological point of view.
