Kyoko was born and raised in Mishima City, a place built on the lava flow of Mt. Fuji. As her family's shoe store closes, she feels adrift, losing her sense of belonging. Her older sister Asuka, who worries about Kyoko, also harbors a different kind of anxiety. In the background, the traditional festival music "shagiri" resonates throughout the town.

Keitaro Fujimori
A filmmaker based in Tokyo and Shizuoka. He directed "Tomoshibi" (2016), "diff" (2019), "Zuumu Kabuki: Yajikita" (2020/co-direction), and more. His first documentary feature-length film "Yume o Kuu" is in preparation to release.
