Julia Ducournau
Julia Ducournau was born on 18 November 1983 in Paris
She graduated from the Scenario department of the F?mis in 2008.
After working as a script-doctor and writing associate, she directed her first short film, JUNIOR, in February 2011.
She also co-directed with Virgile Bramly, MANGE, a unitary comedy for Canal + in 2012, and 2 episodes of the SERVANT TV series in 2021.
She is a screenwriter in several feature films, such as NI LE CIEL NI LA TERRE by Cl?ment Cogitore (2015), COMPTE TES BLESSURES by Morgan Simon (2016), CORPORATE by Nicolas Sihol (2017)
She directed her first feature film, GRAVE, in 2016. A critical and commercial success, with multiple festivals awards (Palm Springs, London, Sitges, Austin, Ghent, Louis-Delluc Prize, Strasbourg, Magritte, etc).
Her second feature film TITANE won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2021.
