France, 1919. Paul, sculptor, goes from village to village to erect memorials that bloom all over the country. But when he arrived in the small town of Sancerre, the trauma of war emerge: after so many memorials, would this monument finally bring him back to life?

Stéphane Landowski
Landowski studied at the Superior Normal School before leaving to be Head of Mission at the Embassy of France in Burma. He then joined Fulldawa Films as a literary editor. “A Children Grateful Country” was his first film. His second screenplay, “the Mask,” won the Beaumarchais-SACD Award and is currently in development.
