With less than 1 month to go from the short-short film festival & launch at Asia, here are some exclusive programs and event information from the films featured at the festival! Today, we will look at the “CG animation program”.
The Computer Animation Program started in 2011 and features amazing all-CGI animations.
It’s full of high-quality works that can be enjoyed by everyone from kids to adults. We’ll introduce two of them this time.
—Fisherwoman and Tuk-Tuk
A film by Indian director Suresh Eriyat, Fisherwoman and Tuk-Tuk shows unique color and touch.
After getting her long-desired Tuk-Tuk (a taxi), the solitary life of a fisherwoman takes a complete turn. She now sees her beloved car even in her dreams.
See how finding a companion brightens her every day.
Synopsis:A lonely fisherwoman lives her dreams through her hard-earned Tuk-tuk. Driving around in her Tuk-tuk, a partner more than a material possession, releases her from the drudgery of mundane life. An accident brings this love story to an abrupt end, but the happiness from its memories dawns a beginning that makes the end meaningful.
In addition, there are other eminently idiosyncratic films from around the world. Since they almost don’t have any dialogue, this program can be enjoyed by people of all ages. So make sure to share it with your kids, friends and everyone else!
