Four guests, who are deeply involved with VR, told us the present situation, possibilities, and tasks of the new industry.
Fumio Kurosawa, GEMINI ENTERTAINMENT inc. President, mentioned that VR could be used for many industries, and has a lot of possibilities to entertain or help people.
Nobumichi Asai, creative/technical director of WOW inc, who is known around the world, recently for creating LADY GAGA’s live face mapping performance, said VR still needs more money to develop its industry and creators. Anyone interested for investigation in VR, please let us know.
Yusuke Tominaga, CEO/producer of dot by dot inc., who has taken part in a 360°virtual reality theater of “Attack on Titan”, shared his next step. That is to make a VR that connects virtual world and real world, so VR would be closer to more people.
Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studio, releasing “PlayStation VR” on sale in October, said VR could be used in various industries so he is looking forward to see who will be joining the market.
We should be watching out how VR is going to be interacting with various industries, especially in film making in coming years.
